Blue & Gold Auction

The Blue & Gold Auction is a semi-formal, themed evening filled with fun, fellowship, and purpose, all in support of St. Matthew’s Catholic School. More than just an event, it is our school community coming together to celebrate, give generously, and invest in the mission of Catholic education.

Because of this auction—and the incredible generosity of our donors—we have been able to remodel classrooms, update our gym floor, and provide essential resources that directly benefit our students and teachers. These successes are only possible through the gifts of time, talent, and financial support from our families, parishioners, businesses, and friends. Words cannot fully express how grateful we are for every contribution that helps make this night meaningful and impactful. Thank you for being part of something truly special.

Fund a Need

Each year, the Blue & Gold Auction includes a special Fund-A-Need initiative that focuses on a specific improvement or priority for our school. This portion of the evening highlights a tangible need and gives our community the opportunity to see how their generosity makes a direct and lasting difference. While the focus may change from year to year, the heart of Fund-A-Need remains the same: coming together to strengthen our school and support our students now and into the future.

Volunteer Hours

The Blue & Gold Auction is powered by volunteers. Every family contributes volunteer hours, and creativity is the only limit to how you can help make this event unforgettable. Opportunities include finding business sponsors for auction items, picking up donated items, crafting auction baskets, building class projects with students, baking or delivering specialty desserts, assisting with setup and décor, and helping with cleanup after the event.

By sharing your time, gifts, and talents, you help make St. Matthew’s Catholic School the best private school in the Flathead Valley. We are deeply thankful for each and every person who helps bring the Blue & Gold Auction to life.
